#108. Hyperbole

On 1-6-21, the United States government got hit with a failed coup, riot, insurrection, whatever.  All kinds of descriptions for that fateful day.  Depending on your political perspective of course.  False flag?  Peaceful protest?  Planned rebellion?  Spontaneous revolt?  Patriots?  Domestic terrorists?  Conspiracy?

As usual, whenever there's a 9/11-like catastrophe, it lends itself to a whole lotta political spin, posturing, and positioning.  I don't see those narratives fading anytime soon.  Go figure.

Anyhoo, I propose we use my term to help clarify what happened on January 6, 2021.  The major difference is that I can PROVE my terminology is directly applicable.  On the sixth, there was an "artificially generated stampede" in Washington, DC.  If you don't believe me, just watch the video.  Roseanne Boyland, 34, of Kennesaw, GA was trampled and crush asphyxiated.  The footage is real.  The individuals involved were not crisis actors.

Think about the background leading up to the culmination.  Trump tweeted relentlessly for 2 months.  Harnessing distrust and rage.  Using the principles of wireless saturation (twitter).  Bombarding his most diehard followers with cellular disinformation (stop the steal).  He then promoted the assembly of a mob of thousands who'd been voluntarily trapped in a nonstop, online echo-chamber.

Two major differences though.  First, it was an order to attack, not a directive to evacuate.  Second, the build-up was more gradual in nature.  One could make a decent case, that the the primary trigger, or the inflection point for the stampede, came mostly from his appearance and speech at the rally.  Wireless communication played less of a role.  Although it was eventually utilized to help quell the mob (go home, we love you, you're special).  Was the riot the result of an info-bomb or a viral blitzkrieg?  To a certain extent I'd say yes.  But with that one, I think the jury's still in recess.  Regardless, everything exploded like a powder keg at a specific location (the U.S. Capitol).

If anything, 1-6-21 was a glaring precursor for a dominipede (domino stampede).  But instead of a gradually stoked, single stampede, it'll be cellular-inspired, near simultaneous stampedes at various locations.  My best guess is still the NFL and/or MLB.  But I wouldn't rule out something fomented out of a political construct.  Maybe mass Covid "liberation protests" on bridges around the entire country combined with an official DHS terrorism (non opt-out) social distancing alert.  Hey, didn't our own government recently warn us of the potential for political violence in all 50 state Capitols?  On a specific date at a specific time no less?  Don't sweat it though... I'm sure they FBI and DHS were "just playin."  Too bad the AGSAF website is currently offline.  It sheds a lot of light on the events of 1-6-21... even though the material's from 2013 > 2020.

Dedicated to those who are willing to entertain the prospect of "kill speech."  Think in terms of hate speech and the trajectory of wireless communication/social media platforms.  And just ask yourself a simple question.  Is everything going to suddenly get better?  Or is it gonna get worse?  My money's on the latter.  Whatevs.

Hyperbole

Can you conceive of free speech to be tragic
It could leave you blind
Cuz if you want to unload a shotgun
Shoot ‘em in the eye

Whisperer singing at flags unfurled
Church begins to pray
We build it up try to lament the sadness
And bask in the display

Hyperbole
Don't seek a balance, confess your sins
Hyperbole
Rhetoric unplanned, excess will win
Shout today and fight with machine guns
Rearrange the words to shock and stun

Can you conceive of free speech to be tragic
Chaos and agony
So if you need to purchase a shotgun
Bullets are on me

Freedom to speak carries with it danger
All of us can see
If you wish to incite together
Violence for you and me

Hyperbole
Don't seek a balance, confess your sins
Hyperbole
Rhetoric unplanned, excess will win
Shout today and fight with machine guns
Rearrange the words to shock and stun

Hyperbole
Don't seek a balance, confess your sins
Hyperbole
Rhetoric unplanned, excess will win
Shout today and fight with machine guns

Hyperbole
Don't seek a balance, confess your sins
Hyperbole
Rhetoric unplanned, excess will win
Shout today and fight with machine guns
Rearrange the words to shock and stun

Don’t Answer Me
Alan Parson’s Project

If you believe in the power of magic
I can change your mind
And if you need to believe in someone
Turn and look behind

When we were living in a dream world
Clouds got in the way
We gave it up in a moment of madness
And threw it all away

Don't answer me
Don't break the silence, don't let me win
Don't answer me
Stay on your island, don't let me in
Run away and hide from everyone
Can you change the things we've said and done?

If you believe in the power of magic
It's all a fantasy
So if you need to believe in someone
Just pretend it's me

It ain't enough that we meet as strangers
I can't set you free
So will you turn your back forever
On what you mean to me?

Don't answer me
Don't break the silence, don't let me win
Don't answer me
Stay on your island, don't let me in
Run away and hide from everyone
Can you change the things we've said and done?

Don't answer me
Don't break the silence, don't let me win
Don't answer me
Stay on your island, don't let me in
Run away and hide from everyone

Don't answer me
Don't break the silence, don't let me win
Don't answer me
Stay on your island, don't let me in
Run away and hide from everyone
Can we change the things we've said and done?

Don't answer me
Don't answer me
Don't answer me

Don’t answer me

Definitely one of my better parodies.  One of my favorite songs as well.

Please do not share this information with relatives of Roseanne Boyle, former President Donald J. Trump, those personally impacted by the 1-6-21 insurrection, lawyers who specialize in freedom of speech issues, and/or prognosticators of generational warfare (indiscriminate killing w/o convention weaponry).
