#398. Thomas's Promises

Clarence Thomas has served on Supreme Court since his confirmation under Bush Sr. in 1991.  He's 72.

Doesn't speak.  Never asks questions.  Always rules to the right.  In essence, the perfect Republican house nigger.

Since that time, the court has generally trended in the liberal to moderate range.  Now in 2021, and in large part thanks to Bitch McConnell and the Orange Prolapse, it's trends socially conservative... by a convincing 6-3 margin.

Well, the highest court in the land just agreed to hear a contested abortion case straight outta the backwards/back alley state of Mississippi.   I strongly suspect that Thomas and his pro-life ilk will use this opportunity to finally overhaul Roe v. Wade.  Not federally criminalize abortion.  But I do think they'll conclude that it suddenly has become a "states' rights" issue.  As opposed to a civil rights or women's rights issue.  And oh yeah, if there's a Latin woman named Stare Decisis... well then, she can go fuck herself... in the uterus.

Thomas’s Promises
sonofsaf

We had a long drought now we’ll be winning
Had a long drought
Roe v. Wade’s screwed now we’ll be winning
You know it’s damn true

Abortion’s a mortal sin
One that I’ll completely rid

Wait and see Thomas’s Promises
No need to deceive
Thomas’s, promises
His faith will take a leap

The Orange Prolapse clown, is still deceiving
Fills us all with dread
Like a game of smear the queer
“Can’t come together“ we wish that he was dead

He’s an Orange Prolapse fart
There’s so much blood a work of art
Wait and see Thomas’s promises
His faith will take a leap

Thomas’s, promises
There was no deceit

Abortion’s a mortal sin
One that I’ll completely rid
Butt he’s an Orange Prolapse fart
There’s so much blood a work of art

Wait and see Thomas’s promises
His faith will take a leap
Thomas’s, promises
There was no deceit
Muffins are Thomas’s
His faith will take a leap
Thomas’s promises
There was no deceit
Thomas’s
Thomas’s
Thomas’s
Thomas’s
Thomas’s

Promises Promises
Naked Eyes

Never had a doubt in the beginning
Never a doubt
Trusted you true in the beginning
I loved you right through

Arm in arm we laughed like kids
At all the silly things we did

You made me promises, promises
Knowing I'd believe
Promises, promises
You knew you'd never keep

Second time around, I'm still believing
The words that you said
You said you'd always be here
"In love forever" still repeats in my head

You can't finish what you start
If this is love it breaks my heart
You made me promises, promises
You knew you'd never keep

Promises, promises
Why do I believe?

Arm in arm we laughed like kids
At all the silly things we did
But you can't finish what you start
If this is love it breaks my heart

You made me promises, promises
You knew you'd never keep
Promises, promises
Why do I believe
All of your promises
You knew you'd never keep
Promises, promises
Why do I believe?
Promises
Promises
Promises
Promises
Promises

Naked Eyes have played in Philadelphia a total of 5 times dag nammit!   Mostly on those "lost 80's" summer circuit shed parties.  You know... Hooters, Thompson Shits, Cock's of Seagulls, you git my drift.  But Naked Eyes has never stepped foot in the Burgh.  Ever!  (aghast emoji).  And I'm not willing to drive 5+ hours to hear something that reminds me about something that was always there to remind me.

Please do not share this information with Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and/or former President Donald J. Trump.
