I sometimes wonder if any of these 3 judges ever question the judgement of the former President. Would any of them be willing to pledge... that if Trump gets reelected, they'll voice their dissent by immediately resigning from the bench? As opposed to presiding during a second Trump reign of terror. Do any of them have serious reservations about the Capitol Police who were killed or died by suicide in the aftermath of January 6th? What about the 100+ cops who were mentally and physically wounded in the line of duty?
I've come to the realistic conclusion that none of them give a fuck. The only way it would've mattered is if a few members of the House or Senate were killed. You know, the important people.
I predict, that at some point in the near future, the United States will experience a decentralized, mass casualty AI event (likely a dominipede - the wireless equivalent of shouting FIRE in a crowded theater). And in its aftermath, the Supreme Court would likely be forced to render several opinions that directly impact certain aspects of the First Amendment surrounding freedom of assembly.
Let's just hope that ACB doesn't seek out wisdom or guidance from the likes of Donald Trump.
