A political newcomer, Virginia's governor Glen Youngkin is a proud Christian worth around a half billion dollars.  Naturally, his hedge fund wealth enabled him the opportunity to buy the governorship.

During the campaign, he effectively distanced himself from the Orange Prolapse.

Instead, he leaned into the culture wars.  Prayer in schools, book bans, transgender bathroom restrictions, etc.  You know, the important stuff.  I suspect at some point he'll start advocating for more guns and strict abortion bans (much like all the other Republican gubernatorial pieces of shit).  But only if he can keep the House of Delegates red and flip a closely divided State Senate.

Apparently, Youngkin is putting his presidential aspirations on hold.  At least for the time being.
