Truth be told, I tried listening to this song.  I lasted 'til the first mention of Polly Jean.  Moral of the story?  Lyrically speaking, the song starts with the title.  Ex: She Loves You.  There is structure!  That's how you build a song.

I also think this band would be better suited if they included the word "the" in their band name.  "Good Evening Pittsburgh, We're The Toadies!"  As opposed to... "Good Evening Pittsburgh, we're Toadies."
