Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) just got the shit kicked out of him.  He was impeached in a 121-23 vote in the overwhelmingly Republican House.  Now the trial moves on to the State Senate. 

One of the charges includes abusing his office to hide an extramarital affair.  

Amusingly, his wife State Senator Angela Paxton will soon be rewarded with the opportunity to focus on his guilt or innocence.  I'm guessing she will "stand be her man."  Hey now, that's the Texan equivalent of a well-deserved Trump Dump.
