#288. We're The Taliban

President Joe Biden just announced a complete withdrawal from Afghanistan.  The big date is set for September 11, 2021.  I'm guessing the exactness and precision of the 20 year anniversary of 9/11 is a major selling point.

I always figured the Orange Prolapse would have unilaterally withdrawn all the troops and told the military industrial complex to go fuck itself.  If for any reason but to create the illusion of an "I love our troops" legacy of some sort.

Regardless, I'm quite certain Trump will quickly take all the credit for setting the ball in motion.  Unless of course, there's an Al-Qaeda attack on the homeland.  Then, naturally, everything would be Biden's fault.  Just part of "The Buck Never Stops" Trump Doctrine.

Incidentally, I've always thought that Kandahar is the worst place on earth... that also simultaneously sounds the most inviting.  Seriously, who wouldn't want to vacation in a city named Kandahar?

We’re the Taliban
sonofsaf

We’re the Taliban, that's who we are
We drive far, Toyota trucks and cars

We’re travelin’ around, Afghanistan
So fly a kite.  If and when you can

We want to stone you, we want to kill you
We want to screw it all, and fuck you
We want to fight more, your fighter on call
We want to use less soy and cholesterol, oh yeah

We’re the Taliban, We’re the Taliban
Ramadan
We’re the Taliban, We’re the Taliban
In your dreams we haunt

We’re the Taliban, We’re the Taliban
Ramadan
We’re the Taliban, We’re the Taliban
In your dreams we haunt

We’re the Taliban, that's who we are
We drive far, Toyota trucks and cars
We’re travelin’ around, Afghanistan
So fly a kite.  If and when you can

We want to steal you, we want to hide you
We want to screw you all, still fuck you
And we hate Jews too, they don’t wear a turban
Yarmulke n’at, and yarmulke n’at, oh yeah

We’re the Taliban, We’re the Taliban
Ramadan
We’re the Taliban, We’re the Taliban
In your dreams we haunt

We’re the Taliban, We’re the Taliban
Ramadan
We’re the Taliban, We’re the Taliban
In your dreams we haunt

We’re the Taliban, that's who we are
We drive far, Toyota trucks and cars
We’re travelin’ around, Afghanistan
So fly a kite.  Oh when and if you can

We want to murder you, We want to murder you
Cuz we got nice weather? You and me?
We want to bleed you, bludgeon you
We want to beer you Budwesier say whazzzuppp!
Oh yeah, oh yeah

We’re the Taliban, that's who we are
We drive far, Toyota trucks and cars
We’re travelin’ around, Afghanistan
So fly a kite.  Oh when and if you can

We want to stone you, we want to kill you
We want to screw it all, and fuck you
We want to fight more, your fighter on call
We want to use less soy and cholesterol, oh yeah

We’re the Taliban, uh-huh
We’re the Taliban, uh-huh
We’re the Taliban, uh-huh
We’re the Taliban, uh-huh

I'm Your Boogie Man
KC and the Sunshine Band

I'm your boogie man, that's what I am
I'm here to, do whatever I can
Be it early morning, late afternoon
Or at midnight. It's never too soon

To want to please you, to want to keep you
To want to do it all, all for you
I want to be your, be your rubber ball
I want to be the boy you love most of all, oh yeah

I'm your boogie man, I'm your boogie man
Turn me on
I'm your boogie man, I'm your boogie man
I'll do what you want

I'm your boogie man, I'm your boogie man
Turn me on / Ramadan
I'm your boogie man, I'm your boogie man
I'll do what you want

I'm your boogie man, that's what I am
I'm here to do whatever I can
Be it early morning, late afternoon
Or at midnight, oh it's never too soon

To want to take you, to want to hold you
I want to give my all, all to you
And I want you to, completely understand
Wherever I'm at, and wherever I am, oh yeah

I'm your boogie man, I'm your boogie man
Turn me on
I'm your boogie man, I'm your boogie man
I'll do what you want

I'm your boogie man, I'm your boogie man
Turn me on
I'm your boogie man, I'm your boogie man
I'll do what you want

I'm your boogie man, that's what I am
I'm here to do whatever I can
Be it early morning, late afternoon
Or at midnight, oh it's never too soon

I want to be with you, I want to be with you
Can we be together? You and me?
I want to see you, get near you
I want to love you from sundown to sunup
Oh yeah, oh yeah

I'm your boogie man, that's what I am
I'm here to do whatever I can
Be it early morning, late afternoon
Or at midnight. It's never too soon

To want to please you, to want to hold you
To want to do it all, all for you
I want to be your, be your rubber ball
I want to be the boy you love most of all

I'm your boogie man, uh-huh
I'm your boogie man, uh-huh
I'm your boogie man, uh-huh
I'm your boogie man, uh-huh

I'm thinking I've seen KC & The Sunshine Band more than twice.  It may have been a retro-alternative cover band... OJ & The Darkness Band or something of that ilk.  Personally speaking, I prefer the McLovin' version.

Please do not share this information with President Joe Biden, former President Donald J. Trump, disco fans and/or Taliban sympathizers.
