#307. Smoke The Purp Urkle

I remember the good ol' days.  Back when marijuana only had a few names.  Pot, grass, dope.  My first experience with any particular strain was back in the late 80's.  I bought a quarter bag of "Mexican dirt weed" loaded with stems and seeds.  It required using the old school phone book approach.  Keep in mind, this coincided with the invention of compact discs and the TRS-80 (Trash Eighty) personal computer which was available in color. 

Times have changed.  Check out this "Family Matters" concoction via actor Jaleel White.  May I present exhibit P.U. (as in Purple Urkle).

Some time ago I created my own name for a strand of marijuana.  "Pol Pot."  Named after the former dictator of Cambodia who exterminated the "more professional" members of his country.  Theorizing that if all the wealthy individuals (doctors, architects, prominent businessmen, etc.) were gone, it would be much easier to control the peasant population.  

Anyway, if asked, "Well is the shit any good?" --- My preferred one-sentence response... "Oh yeah, it's killer."  So if you happen to grow the good stuff, feel free to use the name Pol Pot.  I'd like to see it gain traction.
