My favorite biblical plague is frogs. Hands down. I just really like the bible's interpretation of torture and sleep deprivation. It's the notion of being "ribbetted" to the brink of insanity. Gotta love the Old Testament's fire and brimstone approach to mother nature.
Now "locusts" are a fine plague as well. And cicadas make for an excellent substitute. After all, they deliver a shit-ton of noise. So after a 17 year hiatus, Brood X is almost here. I look forward to the reactions from the neighborhood children.

Never saw Destruction. They once opened for the Cro Mags at the City Limits back in 1989. But I missed that show. Regrettably, what once was an abandoned roller skating rink in Penn Hills that hosted scores of metal concerts... is now a Dollar Store.
Please do not share this information with people who are easily annoyed by the presence of cicadas.
