#305. Barry Brodd

Welcome to the face of evil.  And you thought the Derek Chauvin "nonchalant suffocation" look was sickening.  

Well allow me to introduce the consummate pig and ultimate scumbag. 

Barry Brodd is the expert cop who testified under oath that George Floyd likely died from carbon monoxide poisoning.  That under the law, Derek Chauvin's torture tactics were objectively justified.  This piece of shit even tried to make the case that Chauvin's knee wasn't on top of Floyd's neck.  He'd reluctantly concede this point, but only after the prosecution questioned him repeatedly, making him appear like an untrustworthy, psychotic liar.

Vandals in Santa Rosa, CA smeared pig blood on his garage, the front door of his house, and a nearby statue.  Oink Oink indeed.

 

Unfortunately, "dingy" Brodd sold the house a couple of years ago.  My sympathies to the current owner.  Hey, this ain't like buying Mr. Roger's house in Squirrel Hill.  Gotta do your research I suppose.

Some friendly advice for Eric Nelson, Chauvin' defense attorney...

If I were you, I'd lay low for a while.  At a bare minimum, shave that beard and get a new look.  Maybe steer clear of the local Cup Foods.

I have a strong hunch, that regardless of the verdict, even if it's a unanimous conviction on all three counts... that the pig blood demonstration out in California is an omen of things to come.  There are just too many ways to spin the narrative.  My take --- the only way for any sense of justice to be remotely achieved is if Chauvin ends up incarcerated for at least a decade, living in constant fear of his fellow inmates strangling him to death.  But stopping just short of killing him every single time.  Eye for eye, eh?  Could be the first ever case of breath for a breath.
