Michigan State Representative Jewell Jones hasn't had a good month. If last month was March Madness, than this month is April Aberration.
He drove his car off a Michigan highway and into a ditch. When the cops showed up, he was allegedly verbally combative with police. Telling them how he runs their budget and was going to "defund their asses." So naturally they tased and pepper-sprayed him. Which immediately translates into "resisting arrest." Not only that, but a female passenger, who puked all over the place, emerged from the car with her pants down. He ended up blowing a 1.9 BAC. And then later, a 1.7. Still twice the legal limit. And oh yeah, officers confiscated a loaded gun too.

I opted to skip a Rush concert in the fall of 2010 at Consol Energy Center. Instead, I attended a seminar at the University of Pittsburgh featuring my favorite asymmetric warfare specialist John Robb. Did I make the right choice? He was predictably interesting, but ten years later, I reflect back... and must reluctantly concede that I screwed up. Should have gone to the arena. Rush has since retired and I never got to see them play indoors.
