A long time ago, I had a brief argument with this guy in Manhattan about who was the best actively touring rock band of the early 90's.  I asked him, "Who the fuck is better than Jane's Addiction?"  He thought about it for 5 seconds, confidently looked at me and said the Beastie Boys.

Likely the only parody of "Trip Away" in existence.  Having penned this one, I can definitely see why.

From 1988 to 2015, Jane's Addiction has played the Burgh a grand total of 8 times.  They were supposed to open for the Smashing Pumpkins last fall at PPG... but cancelled.
