#1305. Alito's World

Samuel Alito and his Trumpy compadres on the Supreme Court recently decided to throw out the entire legal concept of stare decisis (precedent).  For the foreseeable future, they'll be stripping the rights of minorities.  Blacks, Hispanics, immigrants, the homeless, LGBTQ, etc.  And oh yeah, women and children... which actually comprise a majority of the population.

Imagine being a Supreme Court Justice bowing in utter deference to an Orange Prolapse.  Oh wait, now there's 5 or 6 of them.

If you're a politician looking to counter the obnoxious "America First" campaign platform, it's actually pretty simple.  All you do is look your opponent straight in the eye and say, "My extremist Republican opponent doesn't seem to understand that... before you can put America First, you have to put women and children first... as in reproductive health care and school safety.  Once we take care of our women and children, then we can worry about your concerns for cutting taxes on billionaires, and the privileged, wealthiest 1% of American."

Compare your opponent to the obnoxious and conniving Cal Hockley.  You know, the asshole from Titanic.

Draw the analogy.  Everyone who votes has seen Titanic.
