#1206. Nutting Is Gay

Last Sunday I did my inverted Pittsburgh Marathon reverse bandit shit.  A couple of torrential downpours midway through.  I cut out around the anti-18 mile mark.  Hit the Smithfield Street Bridge and hoofed it back to my car on the North Side.

But earlier, while in Homewood, one of the elite runners who was in 5th or 6th place, stopped running right in front of me.  He looked directly at me (I was the only person in the immediate vicinity).  He shook his head in disbelief and just started walking.  I couldn't believe what I was witnessing.  He crapped out!  

Then again, I crapped out as well.  Truth be told, at some point... don't we all just crap out?

Later that afternoon, I hit PNC Park and snagged a freebie.  My first game of the season.  A rain delay pushed the start time from 1:35 pm to 2:55 pm.  Sore as hell, I used the time to stretch, walk it off, and bitch about my physical discomfort to various random strangers.   

Stayed for the first and bolted.  On my way out, the Pirates gatekeeper said "Thank you for coming." 

I muttered back, "Ahh, best first inning ever!"
