#927. Mike DeWine

In keeping with the Republican sponsored, newly enacted, draconian abortion laws in Texas and Mississippi... our next door neighbor, sniveling bitch Governor Mike DeWine (R-OH) has entered the fray.  He signed a bill "imposing criminal penalties on doctors who fail to give medical care in the extremely rare circumstance when a baby is born alive following an abortion attempt."

If you're a pro-choice Democratic operative or someone in favor of women's rights, here's the rebuttal.

"Behind the scenes, DeWine and the Ohio Republican party are pushing for video cameras to enhance legal enforcement... in the clinics, in the hospitals, at planned parenthood, even in a high school guidance counselor office.  Ladies, prepare for the new era where your birth of your child gets livestreamed to the authorities.  You know, just in case something goes wrong.   So the police can show up and take appropriate action in a timely fashion."

Hey, the law is the law.  Right?

Due to the Omicron surge, Phish just canceled their New Year's run at Madison Square Garden.  Wasn't planning on going but that pretty much sucks.  Then again, you're being spared the experience of "mixing it up" and/or "getting down" with 20,000+ sweaty huffing hippies... during the peak of a viral blitzkrieg, er uh, viral blizzard.

Favorite Phish encore cover?  Probably not Frankenstein.  I'd veer towards Hendrix's "Fire."

Please do not share this material with pro-lifers and/or Ohio Governor Mike DeWine (R-OH).
