#900. Bad Romance (Lies From Your Wife)

Every once in a blue moon, I stumble upon a parody of human significance and societal consequence.  I imagine this one would qualify.  According to statistics, about 50% of women engage in extramarital sex at some time or another during their marriage.

Feel free to light up my rendition on the bar karaoke circuit.

Bad Romance (Lies From Your Wife)
sonofsaf

Fuck...

You heard she smoked a joint, and drank a cumshot load
Why her ass took a fist, no one can really know
So fake the tits on her chest, you can’t deny
A non-confession, rationale is sublime

It makes you feel uncomfortable, she ain’t there late at night
Don’t listen to the lies from your wife

You dismiss all the laughs, and evidence you find
‘Cause whatever else adultery’s a crime
She’s on her back and knees cheatin’ all the while
Whore of the earth and doin’ it in style

It makes you feel uncomfortable, she ain’t there late at night
Don’t listen to the lies from your wife

It makes you feel uncomfortable, she ain’t there late at night
Don’t listen to the lies from your wife

It makes you feel uncomfortable, she ain’t there late at night
Don’t listen to the lies from your wife

Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)
Green Day

Fuck...

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life

I've always enjoyed the Good Riddance Seinfeld farewell clip.  Incredibly poignant... for a show about nothing.  Here's a live concert version.

Since 1993, Green Day has played the Burgh a grand total of 11 times.  Never seen 'em.  They're alright I suppose.  Just never been a big fan of the "emo" rock genre.  Too much of an emotional reliance on tattoos and bodily piercings.  Not to mention the physical dependence on flavored vaping and fruity beer.

Feel free to share this parody with any husband who has been the victim of infidelity.
