After a month in the hospital, Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has been "dishonorably discharged" and is now recovering in an inpatient rehabilitation center.

Turns out that Mitch's brush with death has garnered some degree of sympathy with American voters. 

And his favorability ratings have spiked accordingly.  Well, the term "spiked" might be a bit of an exaggeration.
