Modeled after Space Force, Trump announced the initiative on Truth Social.  Stating that the new body will watch for bad actors and misuse while utilizing existing civil and criminal justice frameworks rather than imposing heavy new federal regulations.

Under serious consideration for the job is former Presidential Cybersecurity Advisor Rudy Giuliani.

The choice of Giuliani is already drawing skepticism.  Keep in mind, this is the same guy who didn't  understand he accidentally created a domain name.  For several days, he routinely blamed twitter for hacking his account and "invading" his tweets.  But it was all a miscue widely known as the "G-20.in" incident.
