#714. Braun Boy

Senator Mike Braun (R-IN) was just on MSNBC with Chuck Todd.  He's one of a dozen U.S. Senators who claim that Biden stole the 2020 election.

Braun was attempting to explain why he and his Republican buddies won't vote to raise the debt ceiling.  Todd challenged him with the most obvious question.  Why was it okay to slash taxes on the rich, increase military spending, and raise the debt ceiling without paying for any of it during the reign of Trump?  But when the Democrats are in power and move to raise the debt ceiling and avert a government shutdown, it's suddenly unacceptable.

When repeatedly pressed, Braun launched into a scripted speech with a list of varying variables and obvious observations.  Sounds about right.
