About a year ago, I penned #838... "I Guess That's Why They Call It A Coup."
A couple weeks ago, Mason and I woke up at 3:30am to catch a Phoenix > Charlotte & Charlotte > Pittsburgh AA flight so we could get back in time for the final Elton John concert in the Burgh. A couple songs in, we were still unsuccessful with our freebie ticket quest and about to head home. Until this guy approached us out of nowhere and said he had 2 extra on his phone. Didn't want to see them go to waste. Needless to say, we happily obliged him.
Ended up on the field. In the pit. Scored a setlist...
...and even found a pair of binoculars. The atmosphere was electric. Elton John never disappoints.
So all in all, we went 2 for 4 on the 2022 PNC Park concert schedule.
