Trump posted an endorsement from former Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County.  

 

As time progressed, Sheriff Arpaio realized that the Orange Prolapse is his first and only hero in his life.

The problem, as I see it, is that Joe Creampie-O hasn't been an actual Sheriff since his political demise back in 2016.  Seven years ago he was resoundingly clobbered by Democrat Paul Penzone (56.42 % to 43.58%).

So he ran for U.S. Senate in 2018 and was obliterated in the Republican primary by two different women.

Martha McSally - 54.6%

Kelli Ward - 27.6%

Joe Arpaio - 17.8%

So he ran again for Sheriff in 2020.  And lost again in the Republican primary.

But for whatever reason, he still calls himself "Sheriff Joe."  That's almost as bad as "President" Trump.
