#528. Jesus Christ's Alright

This poignant melody can be sung year round.  But preferably during the "daddy-daughter" dance at any Christian wedding.

So touching.  Both literally and physically.  Borderline incestuous.

Jesus Christ’s Alright
sonofsaf

This song I’m not screaming
Ain’t psychological warfare
I’ll give you a heads up
An atheist would not care

And then she asks me, “Do you wanna fight?”
And I say, “No, mighty Jesus Christ’s alright.”

Last Supper was hearty
Preview of the trinity
Some call him a baby
Nativity scene for thee

And then she asks me, “Will you pray tonight?”
And I say, “Yes, I love Jesus Christ alright.”

I love Jesus Christ
There’s ain’t no vagina between his thighs
He has a sack with two balls
But there’s no need for spermicide when he dies for you

Churches are a cash cow
Exploiting the many dead
Children on their hands and knees
Priests fuck them instead

But then Chrisagis, sings songs into the night
Brothers Chrisagis, I love Jesus Christ alright
Oh Chrisagis, I love Jesus Christ alright

Wonderful Tonight
Eric Clapton

It's late in the evening
She's wondering what clothes to wear
She puts on her make up
And brushes her long blonde hair

And then she asks me, "Do I look alright?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight"

We go to a party
And everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady
That's walking around with me

And then she asks me, "Do you feel alright?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight"

I feel wonderful
Because I see the love light in your eyes
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you

It's time to go home now
And I've got an aching head
So I give her the car keys
She helps me to bed

And then I tell her, as I turn out the light
I say, "My darling, you are wonderful tonight"
Oh my darling, you are wonderful tonight

Dedicated to the Chrisagii.

Shout out and mad props to the twin Chrisagis Brothers.  Brian and Shawn!  On second thought, it's more of a props-shout/mad-out to the synthetically chortling, Jesus driven duo from small town East Ohio.

If you're seeking to explore the notion of "silliness is next to godliness" along with a fun-filled night of utter merriment, may I recommend the Buckeye Local High School auditorium on July 31, 2021.  Good to see the Jefferson County Board of Education adhering to the rigorous constitutional standards of separation of church and state.

Please do not share this material with former ex-creaming singer Eric Clapton, the Chrisagii, Linsday Wagner, Erik Estrada, Lonnie Anderson, and/or Jesus freaks.
