#530. Big Lie

Back in the day, I used to snag pictures of Grateful Dead vanity plates.  Occasionally I'd come across a few that were deemed "suspect."

They're all in alphabetical order despite the "Smile 3X."  Most competent Dead fans should be able to figure it out.

Not to besmirch an unidentified Deadhead from Virginia or Wisconsin, but I would've chosen a more conventional tune.  Imagine a state trooper radioing in a license plate that literally spells out the word "High Time."  With the circus in town, it'd be difficult to remain objective.  This may have been the original impetus for "getting one's car tossed."  As opposed to getting one's salad tossed.  Or maybe both.
