#534. Glenn Youngkin News

Republicans in the state of Virginia needed someone to run for Governor.  But this election cycle, GOP state representatives decided to eliminate their primary.  I mean, seriously, why bother to go through the motions and have an actual vote?  When you can just install Glenn Youngkin, the 6'7" hedge fund manager dude with a net worth of 300 million.  

See?  This way you don't have to expose the eventual nominee to the rigors of any discernible political competition.  You know, trivial shit, like uh, democracy and voting.

My point --- Virginia Republicans should ask why this happened.  Why is their state party leadership denying members of their own party their constitutional right to vote?  This strikes me as vastly worse than a Cyber Ninja audit.  Hey, why bother verifying the votes when it's simply easier to eliminate an election altogether?  Sounds about right.

Not to offer advice but maybe the fake news should jump on this.

And now Youngkin is refusing to debate his Democratic challenger Terry McCauliffe on July 24.  Basically citing favoritism and bias.  I guess he's scared of the female PBS moderator Judy Woodruff.  Hey, she might have the audacity to ask him some really tough questions.  Stuff like... "Who is the current President of the United States" or "Who won the election" or "Do you think Donald Trump bears any responsibility for the events of 1-6?" or "If you lose the race for Governor, will you claim the election was rigged?"

Yeah, I could see how certain nasty questions would make him look like an imbecile, or at the very least, incapable of governing.  Or as Trump might say... stupid or bad!
