What "literally" screwed Lewinsky was her being despised by both the far left and the far right. She had zero room to maneuver and little sympathy from the media. Always liked Monica Lewinsky. I hate to sound pessimistic, but had it not been for the secretly recorded conversations with Linda Tripp and the preserved DNA-infused cum stain on her blue dress, I suspect she may have simply disappeared. Her being a Jew probably helped as well. Mazel Tov!
