If you flash back to the 2016 inauguration of the Orange Prolapse, one can't help but notice the musical performers.  Lee Greenwood?  Check.  Toby Keith?  Check.  Three Doors Down?  Suck.  Pittsburgh's very own Jackie Ivancho?  Yinz.

But the organizers required a token negro in order to demonstrate racial inclusiveness.  Kanye West declined (praise dog).  So they dug up Motown relic Sam Moore to sing America the Beautiful.   The committee even assigned him a venerable background posse.

The Crystals came to Pittsburgh 3 times way back in 1963, 1964, & 1965.  Believe it or not, they seemingly reappeared at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg just 3 days ago (56 years later).  But I have no idea "in what form."  Does the band still have all of its original singers?  Personally, I doubt it.  But you never know.  One of my favorite scenes from Good Fellas is during Henry's courtship of Karen.  Background music is provided by, yep you guessed it, The Crystals.  And then he kissed me.
