#32. Aaron

#44 Hammerin' Hank Aaron passed away yesterday.  

For those unfamiliar with the man, he owned the all-time MLB home run record.  Well, until a juiced up Barry Bonds asterisked his ass.  If memory serves me correct, instead of MVP, Bonds was once given the title "MDP" during his time with the Pirates organization.  "Most Despised Pirate."

Transition:  Out of all the bands I've seen, and as many times as Yes has played the Burgh, you'd think I would've seen 'em.  Incorrect.

When I was a kid, there was a YES motel in Elm Grove.  The fluorescent "YES" billboard shone brightly over I-70.  I happened to live right up the road.  They even had a marquee outside the modular complex that read:

Whenever I walked by, I'd always quietly think to myself... man, wish I could book a room there.  I was 10.
