#454. My Meat Is Here To Stay

If I had known the Orange Prolapse was going to eternally exploit the living shit out of this Lee Greenwood tune, I would've warned him some 15 years ago out Jambo.  Not that he would have given a shit.  Perhaps a minor shat.

The dunce, the schmuck, and the WTF... in no particular order.

Envision these lyrics as more of an agrarian, patriotic, masturbatory fantasy.  Hopefully that helps.  Or in this case, probably hurts like the dickens.

My Meat Is Here To Stay
sonofsaf

When I awake at the crack of dawn,
A rooster coos for life.
And he has got some talons,
All ‘bout the farming and the strife.

We hate big city cars,
We think tractors are the way.
On the farm there’s lots of penis,
But they are not god damn gay.

And I'm proud to be an Agrarian,
But my crops aren’t fucking free.
And all the scooped shit and chicken fried,
Vegans don’t you fuck with me.
Vegetarians suck,
Up to you with their green shit all the way.
Cause I’ll scream and shout, I love my hand
My meat is here to stay.

From the Arby’s down the road yo,
To the butcher family.
Inside the hot dog beef plant,
Oscar Meyer ain’t free.

Extra veggies on the pizza,
DiCarlo’s ain’t okay
Unless you order your food a la carte
Take out is the only way.

God Bless The U.S.A.
Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all my things were gone,
I'd worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
With just my children and my wife.

I'd thank my lucky stars,
To be livin' here today.
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
And they can't take that away.

And I'm proud to be an American,
Where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
Who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
Next to you and defend her still today.
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
To the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston,
And New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
And its time we stand and say.

That I'm proud to be an American,
Where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
Who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
Next to you and defend her still today.
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

And I'm proud to be an American,
Where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
Who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
Next to you and defend her still today.
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

For the love of fuckin' Downward Facing Dog, every time I write a parody for this Lee Greenwood jingoistic bullshit, I gotta come up with some unique pithy comment.  Fuck that!

On second thought, I used to live in the outer stretches of Oakmont, just across National Road from Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling.  'Nuff said.

Please do not share this material with individuals who were raised in Wheeling, WV.
