Elon Musk is suing the Anti-Defamation League.  He's distraught about how they're seemingly cracking down on hate speech on his social media platform.  Hey, it could be far worse.  They could be cracking down on "kill speech."   Particularly, October 1, 2023 at 3:04pm (9 NFL stadiums and 15 Major League Parks).  Ouch!  Could very well be the next 9/11.  Seriously though, why would anybody give a shit about a hypothetical calamity that alters the course of humanity?

Musk is currently the wealthiest person on the planet.  253.8 billion dollars.  Hot damn!  Not too shabby.  I'd happily settle for the .8 fraction. Wait a second.  That's actually 800 million.  For a second, I thought it was just 8 million.

In other news, we went to Aerosmith & The Black Crowes last night at PPG Paints Arena.  

That venue was totally packed to the rafters.  Gigi scored a freebie and I basically just wandered in... semi-drunkenly unimpeded.  Hey, I've been to a few rock'n'roll concerts in my day.  But this was one of the loudest, most ridiculously over-modulated, heavily distorted concerts I've ever attended.  Still we had a good time.  

Next up?  Joe Russo at Stage AE on Friday and Double D on Saturday at the arena.  Not to mention Ray LaMontagne's at the Benedum on Wednesday.  Hey, maybe it's a good thing Springsteen postponed his Tuesday and Thursday shows.  That would've been a total of 6 shows in 9 days.  Now it's down to four.  Thank Dog.

Jerry Garcia passed away in 1995.  At the time, I was driving my '88 Nissan Maxima on Route 88.  Just as I rounded the bend toward the Crispin, going about 45mph, I heard the news on a live WDVE broadcast.  As the dee-jay lady announced his unexpected passing... a deer leaped onto the hood of my car!  I hit the brakes.  He scrambled to the ground and limped away.  Incredibly vivid memory.
