#160. Vaccine

Dolly Parton just got the Covid vaccine and was kind enough to post a little video snippet.

But she only did the refrain.  So I thought I'd help her out.

Vaccine
sonofsaf

Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine
I'm begging of you please take the vaccine
Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine
They don’t get the chance in Pakistan

Your duty to fellow man’s fair
Avoid another lockdown scare
It’s not a sin to cry about what you’ve seen
Don’t listen to Trump or kiss his ring
The choice a needle in your vein
Come get a shot you lucky loo
Vaccine

The needle goes inside you deep
The pain’s nothing that will make you weep
Or crying it’s just all the same
Vaccine

And it’s not part of a masterplan
You know what it costs to make vaccine
I’m Dolly Parton with The Stampede
Vaccine

Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine
I'm begging of you please take the vaccine
Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine
They don’t get the chance in Pakistan

Double Johnson just say when
Shoot Pfizer in your arm again
Moderna’s the one for me
Vaccine

It will come down to all the Jews
Our livelihood relies on Jews
So you’d better pray in old Hebrew
Vaccine

Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine
I'm begging of you please take the vaccine
Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine
They don’t get the chance in Pakistan
Vaccine, Vaccine

Jolene
Dolly Parton

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I'm begging of you please don't take my man
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Please don't take him just because you can

Your beauty is beyond compare
With flaming locks of auburn hair
With ivory skin and eyes of emerald green
Your smile is like a breath of spring
Your voice is soft like summer rain
And I cannot compete with you
Jolene

He talks about you in his sleep
And there's nothing I can do to keep
From crying when he calls your name
Jolene

And I can easily understand
How you could easily take my man
But you don't know what he means to me
Jolene

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I'm begging of you please don't take my man
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Please don't take him just because you can

You could have your choice of men
But I could never love again
He's the only one for me
Jolene

I had to have this talk with you
My happiness depends on you
And whatever you decide to do
Jolene

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I'm begging of you please don't take my man
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Please don't take him even though you can
Jolene, Jolene

Never seen Dolly Parton.  She came to the arena 5 years ago but the concert didn't show up on my radar.  As you might expect, I'm an admirer of her Pigeon Forge Stampede Dinner Attraction.  Perhaps one day.  Then again, I rarely find myself exploring Eastern Central Tennessee.

On the other hand, while living in Sacramento, my wife had an appointment with her dentist Dr. Patrick Penney.  She went in for her routine cleaning.  It was the first appointment on his morning's schedule.  Normally a very calm and subdued individual, the good dentist seemed a little bit "amped up."  He then confided the source of his excitement.  "Last night, I got an emergency call and had to come into the office to operate on Dolly Parton.  And you're the first person I've told."  He confided how there was an admitted degree of difficulty in managing to avoid any accidental "brushing up" against her formidable bosom.

Please do not share this information with Dolly Parton, Dr. Patrick Penney, and/or those who've received a Covid vaccination.
