Back in the early 80's, my parents had a "Clapper" for the television in their upstairs bedroom. Keep in mind, this was before the age of wireless remote. I vividly remember that anytime someone sneezed, the television would shut off. If you had a multiple sneezes (hypothesized parasympathetic summation), the tv would turn on and off with the frequency of the bronzing lights in the Orange Prolapse's personal tanning booth.
