Our first* trek to Star Lake since Covid... and the show gets canceled.  Naturally, Paul Stanley tested positive just before they were about to open the gates.  

Some of the younger kids were noticeably distraught.  But most of the crowd handled it in stride and shuffled back home to Beaver County or wherever.

#658. Gonna Rock The Vote

Today's the big day I guess.  The March on Washington for Voting Rights.  We're heading in the westerly direction of D.C.  But not Southerly.  Gonna hit up Dead & Company at Hershey Stadium instead.  Last night's show at SPAC in upstate New York was a scorcher.  I'm anticipating a bit of a let down tonight.

While I fully support its objective, I just don't think this "rally"... in its current form, is gonna do anything substantive to impact the likes of Joe Manchin and others in the Senate who rely on the filibuster. 

After 4 straight years and counting of Trump rallies, I believe the Orange Prolapse has really marginalized our citizenry's impact to unite and make a difference.  With all of those dumbshit clown gatherings, Trump has effectively, and unknowingly, truly diluted the entire concept of freedom of assembly and the notion of petitioning the government.  It's an angle of his legacy that few journalists are willing to acknowledge.

Last week, Dush stepped into the role of "Keystone Cyber Ninja."  You see, State Senator Doug Mastriano (R-PA) was forced out... after he insisted there would be a "fair and impartial" investigation into allegations of Pennsylvania voter fraud.  Apparently Mastriano never got the memo regarding the continuation of Trump's Big Lie.  After the Maricopa County fiasco, Mastriano's only purpose was to cry foul, demand an investigation, have hearings, and make constant accusations of voter fraud.  But when the shit actually hits the fan, he was not supposed to have a physical recount.  His job was just to whine, complain, and perpetuate the Big Lie.  Leaving it out there.  Lingering in the ethos.  Why?  Because the sham recount in Arizona was a failure from the start.  A total joke.  Just like the former buffoon-in-chief.  

You see, post-Arizona, nobody's supposed to actually count anything, anywhere.  Trump only wants words.  Not numbers.  And hey, Trump doesn't need any additional reminders that he is indeed an Orange Prolapse clown.
