The Republican party seems to be having a rough time with the culinary aspects of the Keystone state.  First it was New Jersey resident Dr. Oz and the crudite fiasco.  Quite possibly the most amusing, self-inflicted screw up in the history of Pennsylvania politics.

Next it was JD Vance and his secret service detail trying to strong-arm free sandwiches from a Primanti's in North Versailles.

And now it's Connecticut MAGA-mega millionaire Dave McCormick with "cheesesteak-gate."  A couple days ago, McCormick was making an appeal for the minority vote.  So he ventured to Max's, a popular hang-out in North Philly.  McCormick knew his team would not be welcome at the restaurant, let alone that section of the city... so they tricked manager Mike Sfida into believing that McCormick's appearance was intended to raise awareness for autism.

Sensing he was unwelcome, McCormick went to a black church across the street.  But then its pastor, quickly realized it was nothing more than a phony photo op with his congregation.  So he told the McCormick team to get lost.
