#340. Derby Days

Saturday night's Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs will be the most heavily attended event since the Covid pandemic shutdown.  Officials are anticipating a crowd of around 48,000.  That's out of the customary 150,000+.

To date, the biggest event was the Texas Rangers game at Globe Field.  Opening day drew just over 38,000 out of a sell-out capacity of 40,300.
