#412. Corona Booster

There's already rampant talk of Covid-19 "booster" shots.  Not surprisingly, big pharma lobbyists will be pushing for a new round of shots as early as this fall.  I suspect the whole booster issue will become extremely politicized.  Why?  Because it can.  Seriously, how could it not?

Corona Booster
sonofsaf

I need the Corona booster
Ain’t crazy or so they say
I need the Corona booster
Ain’t crazy or so they say

Treat me like a god damn retard Covid’s coming this way

The shot's not in the dark ‘cause Fauci he would scowl
Shot's not in the dark ‘cause Fauci he would scowl
Look out vaccine sheeple
Corona booster ran afoul

If you need a Corona booster
Carpe diem
If you need a Corona booster
Carpe diem

Still say I’m a god damn retard
Shit my Corona booster caused harm

Little Red Rooster
Bob Weir

I am the little red rooster
Too lazy to crow for day
I am the little red rooster
Too lazy to crow for day

Keep everything in the farm yard upset in every way

The dogs begin to bark and hounds begin to howl
Dogs begin to bark and hounds begin to howl
Watch out strange cat people
Little red rooster's on the prowl

If you see my little red rooster
Please drive him home
If you see my little red rooster
Please drive him home

I had no peace in the farm yard
Since my little red rooster's been gone

In other news, I saw Eddie Vedder last night outside PNC Park.  He was solo.  Standing in a line to get into the center outfield entrance.  Shoulder length hair, full beard, big lens sunglasses, jeans, boots, and a backwards NY Yankees gray ball cap.  I thought about pestering him but just opted to leave him be.

Then I get home to find out that his buddy Jake Arrieta was the starting pitcher.  The last time I ran into Eddie was outside the ballpark along the Allegheny River path in October of 2015.  That's when I delivered my pitch a/k/a spiel.

Sorry.  The website is currently inactive.

It was before the wildcard game when Arrieta slaughtered the Pirates and pitched a 4-0 nothing shut-out.  Last night he got pulled.  But eventually snagged the win in a Cubs 4-3 comeback victory.

Let's go... Cubs.

Please do not share this information with anyone who has been vaccinated for Covid-19.  However, feel free to mention it to Eddie Vedder.  Who knows, maybe Pearl Jam will start covering Little Red Rooster.  That Willie Dixon song has a lot of mileage on it.
