In the United States, there are three states which allow for death row inmates to be executed by firing squad. Oklahoma, Mississippi and Utah. Well, it looks as though you can add South Carolina to that list.
Governor Henry McMaster intends to sign the bill asap. Executive priorities!

Gotta be honest here. I would almost certainly choose firing squad over lethal injection. But if I'm ever sentenced to death, I imagine it wouldn't be for murder. It'd most likely be for accusations and charges in the realm of crimes against humanity. Hey, one man's generic concerns about cybersecurity & public safety are conceivably another man's equivalence of black swan-related domestic terrorism. Hopefully, it doesn't come to that.
