Donald Trump appointed businessman and longtime Republican donor and fundraiser, Louis DeJoy, to the position of Postmaster General back in May of 2020.
Normally, this position isn't even remotely political. But the Orange Prolapse permanently changed all of that in an attempt to squelch the number of mail-in ballots. His objective ultimately failed. Another one of his countless failures.
But it looks like the Biden administration is stuck with him for the foreseeable future. Unless DeJoy quits or dies. However, there's an overlooked third option. That he could be humiliated to the degree where he opts to resign... or in the worst case scenario, commits suicide. Hey, whatever it takes. Right?
From this day forth, when any postal worker sets out for the daily deliveries, I would encourage them to sing this "motivational work song." If it became universally popular, I imagine DeJoy would, in essence, go postal and resign in disgrace.
