Poor Lou Dobbs. Well, not that poor. With a net worth of around 20 million, I'm sure he'll land on his feet. Well unless Smartmatic and a jury hold him, Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Maria Bartiromo, and the entire Fox News machine monetarily accountable for spreading demonstrable lies about their voting machines. Who woulda thought that words can actually have consequences? (cue the AGSAF refrain). Certainly not journalists and lawyers! Right?
After the last five years of flooding the airwaves with exaggerations, falsehoods, mistruths, lies, whatever... it finally seems like things have reached a tipping point. I guess it was easy to get carried away. After all, during the Trump presidency, didn't the Orange Prolapse tell somewhere in the realm of 30,000+ lies? Hey, it's only natural, that at some point, you'd get caught up in the moment and start fibbing yourself.
Since this whole mess will likely be settled behind closed doors with gag orders, hush payments, backroom settlements, and non-disclosure agreements... here's a thought. How about we go old school punishment? And wash all their mouths out with soap. Then, strip 'em all naked and tar and feather 'em. Preferably in Times Square. Maybe beat 'em with My Pillows. (Just when you think you've seen it all, David Hogg has allegedly jumping into the mail order pillow biz. May I suggest the name "Hogg Wild." A tribute to Trump's failed insurrection attempt).
