#61. Tyreek

I was checking out the MVP odds for this weekend's Super Bowl.  Here are the ones I found to be of interest.

Pat Mahomes +100 (even)

Tom Brady +200

Tyreek Hill +1200 (bet $100 to win $1,200)

(Straight outta HBO's Oz)

Travis Kelce +1300

Leonard Fournette +2500

Clyde Edwards-Helaire +2800

Tyrann Mathieu +4000 (if Brady implodes and throws multiple interceptions)

Antonio Brown +6000 (can you say sucker bet?)

Rob Gronkowski +7000 (seems high considering the past Brady to Gronk relationship in high profile games and the possibility that Brady could announce his retirement if the Bucs win).

Ndamokug Suh and Le'Veon Bell are both going off at +10000 (Suh is a bad ass maniac, Bell is a dumbshit maniac.  Big difference.)

Kickers Succop and Butker are at +12500 (Seems a little high, especially if the game's low scoring and comes down to a last second field goal.  Conventional wisdom is that it'll come down to the last 2 minutes).

Obviously, as reflected in the odds, Mahomes and Brady are the obvious choices.  Though if there's a torrential downpour, I kinda like the value in the defensive backfield, particularly free roaming safety Tyrann Mathieu, the running backs and maybe even the kickers.  A sloppy, soaked field sounds consistent with the China Virus Bowl in Tampon Bay.  I doubt Roger Goodell would appreciate Tyreek Hill being named Super Bowl MVP because of the past domestic violence charge (same logic would apply to AB).

Dedicated to the explosive Tyreek Hill.  Come Sunday night, let's just hope you don't have a case of explosive diarrhea.

When Chic hit it big in 1978, I was eight years old.  Consequently, I didn't do a whole lotta clubbin' or concert going.  So I never saw Chic play live.  That's probably a good thing.  Probably wouldn't have been able to keep up with all the coked out funk moves.
