#127. Scalise

It takes a special kind of Republican to venture down to Mar-A-Lago and lick the exposed colon... er uh, kiss the ring of the Orange Prolapse.  

(All smiles.  Must have been a mutually pleasurable experience this weekend.)

Of course, Scalise is just trying to keep his options open in case the Republicans retake the House in 2022.  He's literally "gunning" for the hypothetical majority role as Speaker. 

But I'll tell you what.  If anyone can talk the talk, and is willing to walk the walk, it's gotta be Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA).  Remember the 2017 Congressional baseball shooting?  Not only did Scalese get shot and nearly killed.  But he continued to stand firm with the NRA whose leadership bankrupted the organization and laughed all the way to the bank (at the expense of the rank and file gun enthusiasts and misc. commoners).  And to this day, Scalise is still quick to defend the NRA and speak out against the angry, radical high school kids whose friends were killed in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre.  Sounds like he's got his priorities in line.  Not sure the word "sychophant" is sufficient.  I'm thinking maybe "sicko-cunt."

Representative Steve Scalise?  All I can really say is... bless his heart.
